What DAPCEP is
DAPCEP — the Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program — is one of Michigan’s most established STEM enrichment programs for pre-college students. It connects academically motivated students to hands-on math, science, and engineering content that goes beyond the standard classroom curriculum.
How Math 4 Success delivers it
Math 4 Success is a DAPCEP program partner. Our instructors bring the same assessment-first approach that drives our tutoring programs to DAPCEP course delivery — making sure students build the foundational math skills that make STEM coursework click.
Courses cover applied mathematics, engineering concepts, and science through real problem sets and projects. Students work through material that challenges them, builds confidence, and creates a direct connection between classroom math and the world it describes.
Who qualifies
DAPCEP courses are designed for motivated students — typically in grades 5–12 — who want to go further than what their school curriculum covers. Students don’t need to be at the top of their class. They need curiosity and a willingness to work.
